North American Beaver
Amazing. Have to go all the way to Japan to photograph a local animal.
Elephant
Ueno has some nice Indian elephants.
Giraffe
Not easy to get a picture through the bars.
Gorilla
Nice pictures of Mom sunning herself while the male hides in the bush.
Macaque Monkey
Picture of grooming pair and a baby.
Penguin
Adelaide and Emperor species.
Polar Bear
He was just waking up while his mate lounged on the rocks.
Raven
Ueno Park is full of Ravens - terribly hard to photograph a BLACK bird. Of course, these are Japanese Ravens, so they are polite.
Rhino
The rhinos were not active today. Just 1 quick shot was all that I could get.
Seal
I got lucky. A good shot of a baby and of a pair nuzzling.
Tiger
Amazing. Started w/ Tiger just laying there in the grass, then he started moving, and then jumped in the pool to play with his ball.
Tortoise
Last but not least.
